Caught a Grab to Suvarnabhumi international for our flight from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. Christmas decorations still adorning the airport, as much as the overwhelming number of other spots.
Another “Grab” for the short journey from the airport to the central Buri Gallery House in the old town. Our hotels have all been boutique and each had its own special charms and very warm welcomes.
It was a good time to arrive, late afternoon, early happy hour(s).
We had reserved a table at the hugely popular vegetarian Middle Eastern restaurant by the moat at the far end of the old town.
